HPE Instant On
Management plugin for HPE Aruba Instant On switches running in offline (standalone) mode. Port-level visibility and PoE control without the Instant On cloud.
Q-SYS Designer name: Fresh AV LABS~HPE Instant On
A control and visibility plugin for HPE Aruba Instant On switches running in standalone mode. Built specifically for the AV deployment pattern where the switch is configured locally and the Instant On cloud account is intentionally not in the loop.
In Q-SYS
- Per-port link state, mirrored as Q-SYS booleans
- Per-port PoE enable, disable, and power-cycle
- Per-port PoE wattage telemetry
- Switch model and firmware reported back for inventory
- Connection state and last-error string
Why offline mode
Instant On is designed cloud-first, but the switches retain a complete local web UI when the cloud account is left detached. For commercial AV installs that prioritize air-gapped reliability, offline mode is the right call. This plugin treats offline as the default operating mode and exposes everything the local UI exposes, plus the things you actually want to automate.
