WattBox
Control plugin for SnapAV WattBox network-controlled power distribution. Per-outlet on/off/reboot, current draw, and outlet state inside Q-SYS.
Q-SYS Designer name: Fresh AV LABS~WattBox
WATTBOX // POWER
A direct, stateful control plugin for SnapAV WattBox power distribution units. Drop it into a design, point it at the WattBox IP and credentials, and every outlet shows up as a Q-SYS control.
In Q-SYS
- Per-outlet on, off, and reboot triggers
- Per-outlet state feedback, polled at a configurable interval
- Total amperage and per-outlet current draw, exposed as numeric controls
- Connection state and last-error string for diagnostics
- Sensible default poll rate that does not flood the WattBox
Why this plugin instead of generic HTTP blocks
WattBox endpoints are easy to wire up by hand once. Doing it well across a fleet, with state recovery on connection loss and consistent control naming, is tedious. This plugin handles the details so you can spend your time on the rest of the design.
